Terms of Service
Last updated: 17 May 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Queue Scout
(“Queue Scout”, “we”, “us”), including the websites at
queuescout.com, queuescout.nl, queuescout.app, and
queuescout.io, the public REST API, the Discord Activity, and the Discord webhook
integration (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you
agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
Queue Scout aggregates and displays publicly observable wait-time and operational-status information for attractions at theme parks. The Service provides this information through a website, a REST API, a Discord Activity that runs inside the Discord client, and a webhook integration that posts updates into Discord channels you control.
2. Eligibility and account
The Service is offered to users worldwide. Queue Scout itself does not require an account creation. Where you access the Service through Discord (the Discord Activity or the webhook integration), you must also comply with Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirement in your jurisdiction to use those features.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, anti-abuse, or rate-limit feature of the Service (including the Cloudflare Turnstile challenge or any JWT-based access controls);
- attempt to spoof your IP address or otherwise evade the pseudonymous rate-limit identifier described in our Privacy Policy;
- use automated systems, scrapers, or bots to access the API at a rate higher than your assigned rate limit, or to repeatedly request fresh tokens in order to circumvent rate limits;
- resell, redistribute, or republish the queue data in bulk without our prior written agreement;
- use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law, infringes any third party’s rights, or interferes with the operation of the Service or others’ use of it;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise derive the source code of any non-open-source component of the Service;
- use the Discord webhook integration to spam, harass, or distribute prohibited content in Discord channels.
4. Rate limits and access
Access to the API is subject to rate limits enforced per pseudonymous identifier (derived from your network address) and per access-token rank. Rate limits may change without notice. Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent blocking of your IP, token, or webhook subscription.
5. Accuracy of information — no warranty
You should not rely on the Service for any time-critical, safety-critical, or commercial decision. Always confirm operating status and wait times with the relevant theme park before making travel, purchase, or scheduling decisions.
6. Discord webhook integration
If you configure Queue Scout to post messages to a Discord channel via a webhook URL, you represent and warrant that you are authorised to add an integration to that channel. You are responsible for the content posted on your behalf to that channel for as long as the subscription is active. We will edit a single message per attraction in place rather than spam new messages. You may remove a webhook subscription at any time by contacting us; revoking the webhook URL inside Discord will also cause our service to stop posting to that channel once Discord rejects the next update.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party providers, including Cloudflare (anti-bot challenge), Discord (Activity hosting and webhook delivery), and our hosting and infrastructure providers. Their availability is outside our control, and outages on their side may degrade or interrupt the Service. Use of those third-party services is subject to their own terms.
8. Intellectual property
Queue Scout, its software, design, logos, and the curated dataset of identifiers and translations are the property of Queue Scout or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
All theme-park names, attraction names, and Discord trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Their use within the Service is descriptive only and does not imply any sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation. Queue Scout is operated independently of any theme park or Discord, Inc.
9. Feedback
If you submit feedback, bug reports, or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use that feedback to improve the Service, without obligation to you.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including (without limitation) warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at any given time. To the extent any warranty cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, the duration and scope of such warranty are limited to the minimum required by that law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Queue Scout and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service is limited to EUR 50, or, if greater and required by applicable law, the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for a free service, will typically be zero).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Consumers in the EU retain their statutory rights.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Queue Scout and its operators harmless from any claim, demand, or damages (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right (including any content you cause the webhook integration to post in Discord channels you do not control).
13. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, are abusing the Service, or are putting the Service or its users at risk. We may also discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.
14. Changes to the Service and the Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes to the Terms will be
announced on queuescout.com at least 14 days before they take effect. Your
continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated
Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.
15. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be replaced by an enforceable provision that most closely reflects its original intent.
18. Contact
